Goal & Approach
The organization is a non-profit corporation. The organization prioritizes academic study and spiritual practice based on the teachings of
Gautama Siddhartha, the saint of humanity. It conducts research on the cultural phenomena and philosophies of Buddha's followers. Moreover,
it endeavors to develop and advocate cultural content enabling the modern practice of traditional Korean Buddhist culture.

investigating and practicing the practical rituals that accompany these teachings.

Three times a day, I recite the sacred invocation “NamoBuddhaya,” while reading the scriptures of Buddha[念佛].
With a tranquil mind, I contemplate and observe myself, the objects, and the teachings[看經].

I realize that there is no separate inherent nature in myself and the world. Recognizing that all is interconnected and transient,
I understand Buddha’s teaching that failing to see this truth leads to suffering[悟空].
Membership
[corporation]The World Buddha Academy[WBA], The World Buddhist Academy [Buddha Academy], a non-profit organization, welcomes those who wish to meet Buddha and encounter enlightenment together with fellow practitioners. Membership requires adopting a Buddhist name and providing sponsorship.
